Palson Electric Grills Plate 2200 W-30950

We bought this grill plate to replace a barbecue as we already use a smaller model in our motorhome and find it easy and clean to use. The grill plate was going to help us cater for larger family gatherings. OK, it worked well the first time we used it although we had to keep plugging it in and out to get it to come on. The next time we used it, the plate heated up well and started cooking a variety of items. Unfortunately it suddenly stopped as the thermostat cut out. We waited five minutes and it still hadn’t come back on and the plate had cooled down. We unplugged and started again but the plate would not come on at all. We transferred everything onto the kitchen hob to finish cooking. Since then we have read many reviews where the same thing has happened. In some instances people have been told that the thermostat had broken and it was replaced by another grill. As this seems to happen with some frequency, we can only assume that the grill is made shoddily with substandard and untested parts. Rather than risk another being sent to us in exchange we will take this grill to our local waste disposal site and write it off as a bad experience, not to be repeated. Buying one of these grill seems to be like playing Russian roulette! Steer clear of this brand of item and avoid risk of disappointment.

I bought this Palson grill, unfortunately we used only two times then stop working.
